When the ABC hit The Bachelor first aired in March 2002, we must confess that the idea of a fairy tale romance on reality television seemed a little far-fetched yet it captivated us nonetheless. For the past fifteen years we have watched every episode of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise. Though some may call us reality TV addicts, we simply confess we are hopeless romantics!
While some of the contestants such as Trista Rehn & Ryan Sutter,
Catherine Giudici & Sean Lowe, and Desiree Hartsock & Chris Siegfried found love on the show, other contestants found love after the show just as Emily Maynard. The franchise gave the audience the opportunity to see Trista Rehn and Catherine Giudici stun the world with their beauty on their special day. In December 2003, Trista Rehn became the first Bachelorette to walk down the aisle in a $70,000 Badgley Mischka gown, leaving her fireman fiancé smoldering in awe.
You can have the similar look of Trista’s designer gown in our beautiful “Missy” gown by Lillian West.
In January 2014, ABC aired Catherine Guidici’s wedding to our favorite bachelor of all time – Sean Lowe! She dazzled the viewers in a beautiful strapless lace fit-and-flare Monique Lhuiller and stunning belt. We cried along with Sean
as he watched his lovely bride make her way to his side. At Bliss Bridal, we
carry a very similar look with our “Faye” gown by Justin Alexander.
Although Emily Maynard became America’s new sweetheart when she appeared on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, she didn’t find love on the television show. Instead, she fell in love and married Tyler Johnson whom she went to
church with. Though her wedding wasn’t televised, she stole headlines across the country with her love story and her breathtaking strapless pink tulle Modern Trousseau ball gown with a dark pink sash.
You can also have the romantic sweetheart look with the beautiful “Hayley” gown by Justin Alexander.
Finally, a Bachelorette wedding wouldn’t be complete without a bride who knows what she wants! Desiree Hartsock got the hot guy Chris and as a bridal stylist she worked alongside Maggie Sottero to design her very own bridal gown. The beautiful one-shoulder lace gown and illusion back were the
perfect look for her outdoor wedding.
A very elegant look similar to Desiree’s dress can be found in our Sincerity bridal gown aptly named “Dolly”.
If you are currently a bachelorette looking for a spectacular dress for your upcoming nuptials, the bridal stylists at Bliss Bridal would love the opportunity to help you find your perfect wedding dress. You don’t have to be on a hit reality TV show to find love or spend a fortune on a dress.
